Application
1.Triacetin CAS 102-76-1 is mainly used as cigarette filter tip-two plasticizer of cellulose acetate.
2.Triacetin is used as flavor and perfume, fixing agent and lubricating base of cosmetics.
3.Manufacture supplier Triacetin is also used as plasticizer and solvent for ink coating, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose and cellulose acetate butyrate, and used as self hardening agent for moulding sand in casting.

It is miscible with ethanol, ether, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents, soluble in acetone, insoluble in mineral oil. It is slightly soluble in water.
