2. Ito ay may mahusay na pagiging tugma sa karamihan ng mga resins tulad ng cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, vinyl acetate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, methyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, atbp.
3. Ito ay pangunahing ginagamit bilang plasticizer para sa cellulose resin.
